Our Story

Town-4

We’re Town Kitchen and Grill. That’s appropriate because this is our Town. My family has lived here for pretty much my whole life. We’ve raised our kids here – graduating from CV High School, and we’ve walked Honolulu on countless occasions.

We wanted Town Kitchen and Grill to be a place our friends could relax and enjoy. In fact, in Town Kitchen and Grill, we built the restaurant where we most wanted to eat. From the broad, but not overly large menu, to the spacious dining bar (with TV’s to watch the local teams play), to the warm dining room with its 86-year-old brick wall, replete with the warts of history, guests comments confirm our hope that the place would provide a relaxing backdrop to a quick bite on a weeknight or a party on a special occasion.

It’s important to say that Town Kitchen and Grill wouldn’t have been possible without the support of a community of friends who came along side of Angela and I as we started the process of acquiring the former restaurant. These people have held our hands and lifted us up at times when we weren’t quite sure we’d make it. We’re so grateful for all of you, and love seeing you in our – and now, truly, your, place.

Our servers are our best asset.

On the evenings when the laughter rings and the glasses clink and the place hums I’m also grateful for the amazing team we’ve brought in and find myself somewhat humbled at their alacrity in serving our guests. Their warm smiles, can do perspective and genuine desire to ensure our guests feel welcome and well served is the backbone upon which Town Kitchen and Grill is built.
